Where are heat strips located in a house?

Question by Pat R: Where are heat strips located in a house?
Just bought a house in South Florida, and the inspection report says we have heat strips that are "functioning normally", but for the life of me, I can't see them anywhere. Are they behind the walls or under the floors? Inside the A/C registers in each room? Our old house had a natural gas furnace, so this is all new to me. Thanks!
