Question by Bogan Mum: What age do babies start eating cheese and other finger foods?

I have a 7 month old and as recommended he i on 3 solid meals a day. I dont have an apointment with my plunket nurse for a while now and she forgot to give me the notes on food for babies. Just wondering when he should start eating finger foods, bread, cheese, crackers, little bits of fruit etc

I don't know all. But I know they cut cheese as soon as they're born. 4-6 months eating solids. You will need to wait until their neck is strong enough to wear they hold their head up.
